Veronica Pugin

Veronica Pugin is a rising senior at Claremont McKenna College, majoring in Economics and International Relations with a concentration in International Development. She has interned at Opportunity Fund, California’s leading microfinance organization, as an Evaluation Intern of their microfinance program. She has served as a Research Associate for Grameen Creative Labs, completing due diligence on potential markets, products, and investors for social business development in Haiti. She is interested in consulting and the role of the financial sector in the economy, having gained internship experience at Goldman Sachs and Consulting Within Reach. As a Chilean-American, Veronica is a Native-speaker in Spanish, fluent in reading and writing, and studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain in fall 2010. Based in Silicon Valley, Veronica enjoys reading The Economist, playing and watching futbol, traveling, exploring the world's sweets, and spending time with her family.

Nicholas Egger-Bovet

Nicholas is a rising senior at Claremont McKenna College, majoring in Economics and International Relations. This past summer he interned at the Foundation for Sustainable Development where he assessed development project proposals for small business initiatives in Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Argentina. He has worked at KKR Asset Management, where he learned about business fundamentals and how to assess businesses through SWOT analyses. Nicholas has taken relevant coursework in Accounting, Statistics, and Economics, and plans on pursuing a career in International Economic Development upon his graduation. He is advanced in Spanish and studied abroad in Granada, Spain in fall 2010 to further his fluency. Nicholas is originally from Sonoma, California and enjoys reading and playing soccer and basketball during his free time.
